Margaret MacDonald: "They have an amazing team and it was fun to meet them all, so knowledgeable, so accommodating and so hardworking!"
Chrissy Beaudry: “My trip to the Library in Kelowna was very friendly and knowledgeable, especially how to access the benefits from different resources of information on family history research."
Karen Collins: "Enjoyable Day!! Nice to see so many Kelowna members out to greet us."
Kay Mihalech: "It was a lovely day to visit with the Kelowna group."

We recently had a visitor from Spain on our website! We received this email request from our KFHS Website
I'm so glad I found you. I'm doing some research and hoping to find more information about my daughter's ancestors who lived in (sic) a ranch in Kamloops called The Colbrooke Ranch, also known as The George Ranch.
It seemed to be a large property that disappeared at some point in history due to a flooding. I am from Spain and I'm going to be in the area next week.
I have photographs and news pieces with more information about the property, I would love to find the way to discover its original location.
Thank-you, Voletia Solis-Fuertes
Lindley and I met Violetia at the KMA and, together with Jaime the Archivist, we all looked at the photos she had. Our first thought was it possibly could be in the Knutsford area. Lindley went to the bookcase and retrieved 'Bunch Grass to Barbed Wire', opened the cover and there we found the Map 1900-1915. Within minutes we found the location of the George Ranch. Violetia was overjoyed, and now we have a new friend in Spain!
