Kamloops Family History Society

April 22, 2023

Hello All,

Thank you to all those members who attended the Annual General Meeting on March 23. The Management Team 2022-2023 agreed to retain their positions for 2023-2024, with the exception of Connie Walker who has stepped down from the Social Media position. We will keep that position vacant until another member agrees to take on the position. Donna Mazur will continue to share Genealogy content. Click here for the full Minutes.

We were also very happy to present Lifetime Membership awards to Barb Pillar and Donna Mazur. Congratulations to you both!

Family Footsteps

Have you an interesting family historical story and photos to share in our upcoming Spring Journal?

Our plan is to produce a Spring Journal for 2023. As Lindley has the Microsoft Publisher program and this program is different to our previous Journals created by Margaret Sharon, we have to create new templates. If any of our members are familiar with Microsoft Publisher and would like to assist, please contact Lindley at memberships@kfhs.org.

Family Search Centre

Barb is still looking for volunteers to cover some dates in the months of May and June, i.e., May 9 (10-2), May 16 (10-2), May 30 (10-2), June 6 (10-2), June 13 (10-2). If you can help, please contact Barb.

WHAT'S NEW ON THE WEBSITE?

We are grateful to Connie Walker, Barbara Pillar, Allison Tremblay, Marg Rodgers, Helen Gendron and Linda Cuthbert for their recent suggestions for Research Resources.
